Inflight Sales Group is the pioneer of airline concession operations, management and marketing, with 20 years of airline duty free concession management experience.
Inflight Sales Group's predecessor was formed by Jean-Marcel Rouff in 1982 to supply amenity kits and has exclusive distributor of duty free products from the leading suppliers to airlines in Asia and North and South America.
From there, the company expanded into the duty free concession business, adding Pan American World Airlines as its first customer in 1986. At the time, ISG was the only airline duty free concessionaire in the world.
ISG grew quickly from 1986, from one concession at Pan American to over 35 airlines concessions on six continents by 1994 and was eventually sold to DFI, who in turn sold the unit as part of their sale to BAA. In 2000, BAA chose to exit the inflight business and Mr Rouff took that opportunity to reenter the market as ISG. |
